**"Baby Moore" is preferred since you could carry it around with ease.
Netter's atlas. Rohen's atlas is optional and for anatomy gurus.
BRS Anatomy.


Cell Biology/Histology:

Wheater's Functional Histology
Color Atlas of Basic Histology by Berman & Irwin (Univ of Miami)


Embryology:

Langman and BRS
Moore is optional.

Epidemiology/Preventative Medicine:

NMS - Preventative Medicine & Public Health by Brett Cassens
Morton's A Study Guide to Epidemiology and Biostatistics


 

 

 Second Semester


Physiology:

Guyton's Textbook of Medical Physiology
Costanzo's Physiology & BRS
Rapid Interpretation of EKGs by Dale Dubin



Biochemistry:

Lippincott's Illustrated Review: Biochemistry
***If you need a reference book, just pick any textbook. Stryer is preferred but you can survive off Lippincott and the powerpoint slides. The teacher will give you a lot of clinical cases in his notes.



Neuroscience:

Snell's Clinical Neuroanatomy for Medical Students
Crossman's Neuroanatomy: An Illustrated Colour Text
Fix's High Yield Neuroanatomy
Duane's Neuroanatomy, an Atlas of Structures, Sections, and Systems
is optional. King's College will provide you with their own dissection manuals.
***If you can't find Crossman, you can buy it in London. Its a European book and it's loved by our King's professor.
 

 

 Third Semester
 

Microbiology/Immunology:

Levinson & Jawetz's Medical Microbiology & Immunology
Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple By: Mark Gladwin

Genetics:

Thompson & Thompson's Genetics in Medicine

General Patholgy
Robbin's Pathologic Basis of Disease
Pockets Robbin's (optional concise review of big Robbins)
Robbin's Review of Pathology (optional, has lots of questions)
BRS Pathology (optional, is excellent for review, but not for original learning)



 

 

 Fourth Semester


Pharmacology
Lippincott's Pharmacology
Lange Basic and Clinical Pharmacology by Katzung
Lange Examination and board review Pharmacology by Katzung(lots of questions.. good review)

Behavioral Science:

Sadock's Synopsis of Psychiatry
 

Ethics:
